Goldstrand Surfboards are about function before form and getting people free wheelchairs. It all began when a friend saw Rod shaping his own board and asked for one similar. Rod asked for the materials plus a donation to the free wheelchair mission and word traveled fast, leading to amazing lessons from renowned shapers and 50-60 boards shaped in short period of time. It was a great way to plow a lot of foam and learn while helping people, who drag themselves by their fists, receive a wheelchair ($77).

Today, we have shaped over 500 surfboards and, together with each customer and rider, impacted thousands of wheelchairs. Please consider Goldstrand for your next board and you too can impact free mobility when buying and surfing.

The operation is found in Newport Beach with boards and apparel at 15th Street Surf and Supply. The brand is also positioned to begin more relationships with shops and vendors. There's also a shaping bay and retail store in one location. Old School Culture pulses from this place, in the heart of Newport on 15th Street, between the piers. Come by for a bro deal when you mention the Surfline Buyers' Guide or just come by for a dose of history and good vibes.
